The challenge: New and seasoned arts educators, often stretched thin across schools, needed to start the year aligned, restored and ready.
What we did: Facilitated a workshop at the start-of-year arts retreat, at the invitation of Artestimony LLC, using restorative practices, advocacy and efficacy work.
The result: Teachers said they felt they had a voice. They left ready to set boundaries and start the school year with a plan of action that was sustainable and connected to their healing rather than their trauma.
